Finest quality soft, warm, pure new wool fitted horse rug. Made by Friday Fox in England these fitted blankets feature twin front buckles, crossover surcingles and a fillet string as standard.
For our more traditional customers we also offer a leather front buckle as an alternative.
This rug still comes with a fillet string but does not have cross over surcingles.
We cut these rugs 2" deeper than standard to ensure that there is plenty of coverage for deeper chested, athletic horses. The neck is snug to maximise warmth in the chest and neck area and the rig is well darted over the quarters to ensure a good fit and to keep the large muscles of the horse's hind quarters warm. As many of our customers hunt, we also make the surcingles over long in case you travel tacked up to the meet.
